ABOUT SQUID FESTIVAL

What's all this then?

Born in 2022, Spring Bay Squid Festival is a biennial celebration of not only squid but ocean ecology, sustainability and the social history & culture of Tassie’s East Coast.

The heart of the festival is Squid Day Out: 8 hours of music, science, performance and tasty food in Triabunna that is designed to be affordable for the whole community. Across the weekend there are other exciting events for kids & families, gourmets & fancy folk, the curious & the brave... see the full program for all the details.

Presented by Spring Bay Mill and Artology, Squid Fest is supported by the Tasmanian Government through Events Tasmania and the Australian Government through the Festivals Australia program. Additionally, we have received support through Glamorgan Spring Bay Council's community event assistance program.
