Squid Festival is three days of science, performance, art and food in trayapana / Triabunna, on Tasmania's East Coast.
The main event is called Squid Day Out - it's jam packed with entertainment for the whole family.

There's so much for kids at Squid Festival - in fact Sunday's Sea & the Sky event has been programmed especially for younger folk!

At any event, it is a requirement for children under the age of 18 to be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Outside of our food-focused events at Spring Bay Mill, we'll have plenty of eating options available.

Food vendors will be dishing up delicious all day Saturday at Squid Day Out, into the evening for Squid Theory.

There will be plenty of beverage options, never fear.
Squid Day Out will feature an outdoor bar and the very special Beaker Street Science Bar - when was the last time you sipped cocktails with a marine biologist?

Yes! All events are wheelchair accessible and accessible facilities are available.

While assistance animals and guide dogs are permitted at all events, no pets are allowed.
We may make exceptions for squid in a pram.

Parking at Triabunna Wharf will be reserved for patrons with accessibility requirements and Maria Island Ferry passengers. For everyone else - parking will be throughout the wide, quiet streets of Triabunna township! Expect a pleasant 5 - 10 minute walk to the festival.

At Spring Bay Mill there is ample parking available - it's a big place.

Accommodation options in Triabunna are very limited, though there is a campsite-by-donation at the Spring Bay Hotel!

The nearby towns of Orford and Swansea are busy tourism hubs... we suggest checking your preferred online accommodation provider!
